Unexpecting Mommy: HAPPY SPRING!

I know it has been a while since I have written, but please be patient. I have some more stories to share it's just finding the time to write them.

MY UNEXPECTED STORY January 2009

At the age of 32, I became unexpectedly pregnant by my 23 year old boyfriend (You do the math). We had been together for two years and enjoyed occasional sleepovers. I enjoyed traveling, playing tennis, and shopping. My family was ecstatic with the news of my pregnancy, never imagining I would have a baby, and neither did I. My due date was April Fool’s Day which solidified the idea that God has a sense of humor, since I had never really seen myself with children. I soon realized that a typical family was out for my unborn baby, my boyfriend, and I. A short time after that I lost my job. In January of 2010, pregnant, unemployed, and unmarried I moved back to my home town and made it through a healthy pregnancy with the support of my family and friends. In April, on my birthday my daughter, who for privacy purposes, I refer to as Angel on this blog, was born. This was a monumental moment of my life, and it continues to be. Fortunately now I am employed, I am still single, and a Mom of the most beautiful gift God has ever given me. This blog was started as a means of therapy for me, and as a way for me to communicate my pregnancy and the birth of my daughter to family and friends. I continue to write about products I find useful, milestones my daughter passes, and my experience doing the greatest job I have ever done, being a Mom. I hope you enjoy my entries and find what I write useful, humorous, and heartfelt, because it is.
